“So, will you buy the pig?”
Markus sat at the table, eyeing me with purpose, his emotions impossible to read. Beside him, the piglet also stared at me, its expression a mirror image of Markus’. I shifted uncomfortably.
“It’s not that I don’t appreciate what you’re trying to do,” I started to reply.
“I don’t need your approval, Tomasz. I only need to know if you will buy this pig.”
